Air Jordan 5 Retro OG “Black Metallic” Confirmed For 2025 Release

The classic Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” release is officially set to return in 2025. Jordan Brand will pay homage to the iconic silhouette in Spring 2025 by remastering it to mirror the original pair, ensuring that every aspect faithfully captures the essence of the timeless design.

The shoe will feature its traditional black nubuck upper accented by metallic silver details on the 3M reflective tongues and shark teeth, along with speckled black patterns adorning the midsole. Notable features will include “Nike Air” branding on the heel tabs, tongue branding highlighted in Fire Red, and the unique upside-down “Air Jordan” patches on the inner tongues. Maintaining familiar elements such as translucent mesh netting and a visible Air unit in the heels, the shoe will rest atop a translucent rubber outsole, ensuring that the 2025 Air Jordan 5 preserves the legacy of its iconic design.
