Air Jordan 3 Retro Doernbecher “Hugo” Release Date

Set to hit shelves in December, the Air Jordan 3 Doernbecher “Hugo” is a part of the Doernbecher Freestyle XIX collection. This charitable collection features six unique shoes designed by child patients from the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

At the creative front of the Air Jordan 3 in this collection is Hugo “Juice” Covarrubias Molina, a young designer with an inspiring story. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant team colors of the Seattle Seahawks—navy blue and slime green—Juice has crafted a sneaker that stands out visually and tells a personal tale. The slime green descending the ankle is a thoughtful nod to Juice’s nickname, adding a playful and personal touch to the design. Beyond the visual aesthetics, the Air Jordan 3 Doernbecher “Hugo” features a 24-carat gold plated hang tag.
